01 RSS Feed Copy the feed URL and add it to your reader

This is a standard RSS 2.0 feed. It works with any feed reader, chat integration, or automation tool that supports RSS or Atom. New entries are published each time a version bump, new page, or breaking change is deployed to the design system.

02 How to Subscribe Step-by-step for each platform
Slack
  1. Open the channel where you want feed updates
  2. Type /feed subscribe https://gfs-design-v9.pages.dev/feed.xml
  3. Slack will post new entries automatically when the feed updates
  4. To unsubscribe: /feed remove https://gfs-design-v9.pages.dev/feed.xml
Outlook
  1. Open Outlook and go to File > Account Settings > Account Settings
  2. Click the RSS Feeds tab, then New
  3. Paste the feed URL: https://gfs-design-v9.pages.dev/feed.xml
  4. Click Add, then OK
  5. Feed items will appear in your RSS Subscriptions folder
Apple Mail
  1. Open Apple Mail on macOS
  2. Go to File > Add RSS Feeds...
  3. Paste: https://gfs-design-v9.pages.dev/feed.xml
  4. Choose the mailbox where entries should appear
  5. Click Add — new entries arrive like emails
Feedly
  1. Go to feedly.com and sign in
  2. Click the + button in the left sidebar
  3. Paste the feed URL into the search bar
  4. Click Follow and assign it to a folder
  5. Works on web, iOS, and Android
Google Alerts
  1. Google Alerts does not directly consume RSS, but you can pair it with a reader
  2. Use google.com/alerts to create an alert for "GFS Design System"
  3. Set delivery to RSS feed in alert options
  4. For the changelog RSS itself, use Feedly or any reader above
Any RSS Reader
  1. Copy the feed URL above
  2. Open your preferred RSS reader (NetNewsWire, Inoreader, Miniflux, Newsblur, etc.)
  3. Use the "Add Feed" or "Subscribe" function
  4. Paste: https://gfs-design-v9.pages.dev/feed.xml
  5. Save — updates will appear automatically
03 What Gets Published Three categories of feed updates
Category 1
Version Bumps
Major (v8 to v9) and minor (v10.0 to v10.0) releases. Includes summary of all changes, stats (page count, section count, icon count), and links to the full changelog entry.
Category 2
New Pages
When a new page is added to the design system (e.g., frosty.html, subscribe.html). Includes page description, section count, and a direct link to the new page.
Category 3
Breaking Changes
Page removals, URL changes, renamed tokens, deprecated components, or structural changes that may affect existing implementations. Always flagged with a breaking-change tag.
■ Bug fixes and patches are documented in the changelog but are not individually published to the RSS feed unless they constitute a breaking change.
04 Frequency When updates are published

The feed is updated when changes are deployed to gfs-design-v9.pages.dev. There is no fixed schedule — updates are event-driven.
Typical Cadence
1–3 / Week
During active development, expect 1 to 3 feed entries per week. During stable periods, updates are less frequent.
Format
RSS 2.0
Standard RSS 2.0 with Atom self-link. Compatible with all major readers, chat integrations, and automation platforms (Zapier, Make, n8n).
05 Recent Changelog Last 10 entries
v10.0 Launch
89 pages, ship-gate clear, all UX fixes applied. Hero card layout, reading progress bars, collapsible sections, and search filtering all standardized.
Frosty Expansion
28 sections, 5,743 lines. AI chat, 20 expressions, mascot construction guide, pose library, seasonal variants.
Interactive Tools
16 new utility pages: search, snippets, quick-start, token export, version diff, email signature, color checker, brand checker, doc generator, QR generator, palette generator, a11y status, performance, dark mode, playground.
Page Consolidation
107 pages merged down to 89. 13 merges: icons (3→1), social (2→1), frosty (2→1), presentations (2→1), stickers, diagrams, animations, maps consolidated.
Content Expansion
616 icons (24 categories), 200 slide templates, 120 social cards, 117 stickers, 105 animations, 25 diagrams.
Dot-Matrix Landing Page
Complete index.html redesign with canvas-based animated dot-matrix US map hero and supply chain routes from Edgewood NY to 8 cities.
Bug Fixes (25)
Hero card z-index, progress bars, dark mode persistence, print.css spacing, grid overflow, animation performance, map tile loading, and 18 more.
v10.0 Launch
Multi-page architecture with 200+ sections, 18 sub-pages, 90 icons, dot-matrix maps, and full enterprise core. Rewrite from single-file monolith to modular page system with shared CSS.
v8.0 Final Monolith
Single-file monolith: 146 sections, ~15K lines, real US state SVG borders, NetSuite templates, globe animation, supply chain pipeline.
v1.0 Initial Brand System
12 foundational sections: color palette, typography scale, spacing system, brand narrative. Inter + IBM Plex Mono pairing established. Cobalt #092F64 as primary anchor.
